2010 NAMI Walk Wrap-Up

A big thank you goes to the C&A employees who either participated in or contributed to the 2010 NAMI Walk, held on Saturday, June 12. The C&A team, which had over 50 members signed up and raised almost $5,000, joined hundreds of other walkers dodging the rain drops and walking the path in Elmwood Park in Omaha. Overall, the NAMI Walk raised close to $69,000!

Jeans Day Garners Nearly a Grand!

The C&A Industries NAMI committee sponsored a Jeans Day fundraiser on Friday, May 28 raising $929 for the 2010 NAMI Walk. Employees donated $5 for the privilege to wear jeans the day before the long holiday weekend. To date, the C&A Team has raised $3,869 – over halfway to its goal of $7,000! The 2010 NAMI Walk will be held on Saturday, June 12 and there is still time to join us for a fun-filled morning. Click here to sign up!

NAMI Grill Out a Huge Success

C&A, parent company of Celebrity Staff, hosted a grill out benefiting the 2010 NAMI Walk Friday, May 14 at both the C&A Plaza and Lakeside office locations. A total of $855 was raised for this worthy cause with all proceeds going directly to the walk. A huge thank you goes out to Rotella’s Italian Bakery for donating the buns, Skylark Meats for donating the hot dogs, and Hy-Vee for donating a gift card toward the purchase of chips. “Ducking and Dodging” for a Good Cause

The first annual “Ducking and Dodging for a Cure”, co-ed dodgeball tournament held on Saturday, April 4, was a huge success raising more than $1000 for Camp Quality Heartland. A total of 13 teams participated in the event which was organized by employees in Aureus Medical Group, a Celebrity Staff affiliate firm. Click here to view photos from the tournament.
